Online Instructor Class Project 

 

I got the idea to do a video animation expressing the Scripture about living stones as I was looking at my grandpa’s rock collection that I treasure. Each stone is so beautiful in its own way. Some were made by heat or volcano or pressure. My grandpa found, dug and polished each stone in this video. He was a self proclaimed “rock hound” and spent hours in his garage polishing the rocks he found. He would make them into jewelry for us. I loved the smell of his rock shop and used to love to watch him as he polished and shaped each stone with his big hands, wearing a plastic apron. He loved nature and I got my love for gardening from him. My grandma always had fresh flowers in most rooms. They made a special coffee table out of their rocks. Grandpa and Grandma’s house was a wondrous place. Anyway, enjoy! – LaLa
